ALNM Treasurer

Charbel Boujaoude was born in Beirut in 1972. He attended St. Joseph High School and later immigrated to Houston with the family at the age of 17. He attended University of Houston and graduated from Pharmacy School in 1997. He is currently a manager at a local Pharmacy.

Mr. Boujaoude is married to his lovely wife Mirna. Together, they have a beautiful daughter Mia who is 2 years old. Charbel and Mirna are expecting a second child in April of 2008. Mr. Bojaoude is an avid soccer player. He enjoys dining out and making friends.

He has been a strong supporter of ALNM since its inception. He believes in its mission statement and its accomplishment. His wife served as ALNM's Secretary General in 2006. After she started nursing school, Charbel volunteered to serve as the current Treasurer.

Mr. Boujaoude believes in unity among Lebanese irrespective of religious affiliations. He joined ALNM and accepted the position on the Executive Board because he wants to help promote one unified and peaceful community. He also wants to work towards promoting a Lebanon that we can all be proud of, a Lebanon where people can learn to co-exist without the clouds of political or religious affiliations, a Lebanon where religious and political believes are best practiced in the privacy of one's own home, a Lebanon that can be a beacon of light for countries who believe and respect democracy and individual freedom.

Mr. Boujaoude stresses that “It is not enough to love Lebanon and watch the news on TV. We must all be proactive and do our part, small as it may be, to help bring Lebanon out of its current crisis and into a peaceful country where we can all be safe to express our thoughts and move about without fear of retaliations and oppression. I encourage you to take an hour or two out of your week and get involved in your local organizations that are working for Lebanon."
